Nepal Earthquake

April 25, 2015 the day that many Nepali can ever forget. The devastating earthquake of 7.8 Magnitude hit Nepal destroying major historical sites, many were marked in World Heritage Site, hundreds and thousands of household, death toll recorded 8,500 lives and 16000 plus casualty. The quake was followed by more than 250 aftershocks with the other huge earthquakes on April 26 (6.7 Magnitude) and May 12 (7.3 Magnitude) causing additional damage to lives and houses. People are living in fear and forced to leave their houses and live in tents, under tarpaulin sheets and under open sky despite rain and wind.

Immediately after the earthquake, Dreams Nepal is continuously and effortlessly responding to the needs of those affected area and displaced families by distributing foods, medicines, water purifier and building immediate shelter.
